The paper of “Study of Distortion on Milled Thin Wall Aluminium Parts Influenced by Initial Residual Stress and Toolpath Strategy” has been selected by “The International Journal of Advanced Manufacturing Technology” as final awardee and it will be published shortly.
The ASRC has become a member of the Hong Kong Aviation Industry Association (HKAIA), which was established in 2006 to better promote the development and enhance the competitiveness of Hong Kong's aviation industry. It is actively supported by many local enterprises.
The HKAIA consists of four branches; Manufacturing, Service and Maintenance, Professional and Quality System, and Investment and Trading. The HKAIA has over 60 members from local aviation concerns, some of whom the ASRC collaborate with already.

In celebration of the Boeing Research & Technology – China’s 10 year anniversary in 2019, and BR&T China would like to celebrate this important milestone with all of their research partners in China.
The Aviation Services Research Centre is a great partnership between the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Boeing dating back to 2013. In appreciation of the collaboration, support, and contributions from the PolyU. In addition, they are very pleased with the technologies being developed, and look forward to achieving greater success with the ASRC in the future!
The ASRC as a key partner, BR&T China will be presenting PolyU a token of appreciation during the dinner. The other three research organizations receiving the token of appreciation are the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Tsinghua University, COMAC Beijing Aeronautical Science &Technology Research Institute.
